Here’s another tip about slowing down. Find yourself a “metronome”. When you play the piano, you use a metronome to help you to keep the beat. When you sit down to a meal, find the person at the table that eats at the slowest pace. That person is your metronome. Sit where you can easily see them and then eat at the same pace as they do. I do this at home every evening…..my hubby is the slowest eater in the world. So, when I eat at the same speed as he does, I usually eat less.
