Come celebrate with us!

On April 16th, from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m, The Arthritis Society and Concordia University’s PERFORM Centre will officially partner with a reception at the Loyola Jesuit Hall and Conference Centre. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the PERFORM Centre and bid on works by artist George Russell.

George E. Russell, an artist and retired art teacher from Laval, has supported The Arthritis Society for many years and generously offered his works for sale for the benefit of The Arthritis Society. « This is an opportunity to discover a relatively unknown, but very accomplished artist, and contribute to The Arthritis Society,” says gallery owner Alan Klinkhoff, who is helping to promote the initiative. A former curator of contemporary art at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Yolande Racine says that George Russell’s work bears affinity with the rich period of the Plasticiens of Montreal, from the 50s and 60s.
