I hope everyone did their homework yesterday. Now that you know the feeling of being satisfied, not stuffed, what do you do with it? Since this is about maintaining health eating and exercise habits during the holiday season aka The Eating Frenzy, tip 3 is really simple. Everyone has heard this one from their Mom (I certainly did) at one time or another – SLOW DOWN. Take the frenzy out of the eating. It takes your brain some time to send the message to your stomach that you are full. Slowing down gives your brain time to catch up to your tummy. And sometime when that happens, your brain tells your tummy it has had enough.
